What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead. What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it. We take time to understand, explore, and create with purpose at every turn.
Step 1: Book your free consultation Start by booking a free consultation. If you’re not sure what you need yet, send a few clear photos (front hairline, both sides, and crown) and we’ll guide you to the right service.
Step 2: Your consultation (what we do) At your consult, we’ll take a look at your scalp and talk through your goals (density fill, hairline enhancement, crown work, full scalp, or scar camouflage). We’ll discuss hair length options, what will look most natural for you, and answer all questions before you commit.
You’ll leave with:
A recommended service type based on your hair loss pattern and lifestyle
A realistic estimate of total hours and number of sessions
A clear timeline for scheduling and healing
Prep and aftercare instructions so you know exactly what to expect
Step 3: Your game plan (sessions + timeline) SMP is built in layers for the most natural result. Most clients need 2–3 sessions, spaced out to allow proper healing. Session one creates the foundation, session two adds density and refinement, and a third session (if needed) perfects the blend.
Step 4: What to expect (realistic results) SMP creates the look of fuller hair by reducing scalp visibility and/or replicating natural follicle impressions. Results are designed to look soft and realistic, not sharp or “painted on.” The pigment will heal lighter than it looks the day of your appointment, and we build gradually so the final result matches you.
Step 5: What we need from you (client expectations) To get the best result, we need you to:
Show up with a clean scalp (no fibers, sprays, or heavy products)
Follow all prep and aftercare instructions
Avoid sweating, swimming, and heavy sun exposure during the healing window
Be consistent with your session schedule so we can build the result evenly
Communicate honestly about your goals and lifestyle so we can recommend the most natural plan
If you have an active scalp condition (irritation, infection, severe flaking, or sunburn), we may reschedule until your scalp is calm so you heal beautifully and get the best outcome.

FAQs
“What is scalp micropigmentation (SMP)?”
1
No. It depends on the look you want.
If you want the classic buzzed/shaved SMP look (where we replicate the appearance of hair follicles), you’ll need to keep your hair very short so the results blend naturally.
If your goal is density (making thinning areas look fuller under your existing hair), you do not have to shave your head. We can work between the hairs to reduce scalp show-through.
“Do I have to shave my head?”
2
SMP is a specialized cosmetic tattoo that places tiny, natural-looking pigment impressions into the scalp to replicate the look of hair follicles or reduce the appearance of visible scalp under existing hair. It creates the illusion of fuller hair or a clean buzzed look.
“How long does it last?”
3
SMP is long-lasting, but it is not permanent forever. It fades gradually over time. How long it lasts depends on your skin type, sun exposure, sweating, and aftercare. Many clients choose a refresh touch-up in the future to keep it looking crisp and consistent.
“Does it hurt?”
4
Most clients say it’s more comfortable than they expected. Sensitivity varies by area, but it’s typically described as mild to moderate discomfort.
“Can you work over scars?”
5
“What’s the downtime/aftercare?”
6
“What if I sweat for work/gym?”
7
Yes. SMP can often be used to camouflage many scalp scars (including FUE/FUT transplant scars) once the scar tissue is fully healed and stable. During your consultation we’ll assess the scar texture, color, and skin sensitivity, then create a plan to blend the area as naturally as possible. Scar tissue can take pigment differently than normal skin, so it may require additional sessions and a more gradual approach.
“Is it a tattoo?”
8
Downtime is minimal, but there is a healing period and aftercare is important for the best results. You may have mild redness right after your session, and the pigment will heal lighter as it settles.
Aftercare typically includes: keeping the scalp clean, avoiding heavy sweating/exercise, swimming, saunas/steam, and excessive sun exposure during the healing window. We’ll give you exact instructions based on your service type and schedule so your results heal evenly and look as natural as possible.
Sweating can affect healing, so we’ll plan your sessions around your schedule. For the best results, you’ll need to avoid heavy sweating and intense workouts during the initial healing window after each session. If your job is physically demanding or you train regularly, let us know during your consultation and we’ll recommend the best appointment days and a realistic aftercare plan so you don’t compromise your results.
SMP is a specialized cosmetic tattoo technique. We use pigment and a tattoo-style device, but the method is different than a traditional body tattoo. The impressions are smaller, softer, and built in layers to mimic natural hair follicles and create a realistic, blended result on the scalp.
